Going to get slaughtered for this but here goes....
Any 'muricans, Britts, Aussies, whoever interested in participating in a GOT fantasy league for NFL?

These involve a lot of effort during the season, knowledge of randoms for crap teams and a draft right?
You can do autodraft (computer picks teams) but the vast majority of the time there is a draft yeah. knowledge of randoms is sort of dependent on league size. Once the season starts though there's not a ton of effort. just have to set your lineup for the weekends games and add/drop players during the week if you want due to injuries, etc

I'm English, but live in the US. I play, every season for the last 6 years. Its a heck of a lot more effort and work than English Fantasy Football. But it really fun.

I would be willing to set up a league for anyone on GOT who is interested, but I would not suggest anyone play unless:

1) They have a reasonable knowledge of the game
2) They know how the game is played (its rules) - and I don't just mean basic
3) Obviously its important to know the scoring system
4) They know who the best 5 players are at each position (at least)
5) They know who all the teams are, who has the best Quarterbacks, and who has the best defenses
6) Know what a QB, RB, RB, TE, K, and DEF are

Seriously, anyone can play and I'd be willing to set it up, but its quite a complicated set of rules and scoring etc. The live draft is one of the best things about NFL Fantasy Football, but if people who have never played before, I would suggest an auto draft on this occasion.

Slightly intimidating post but a good one haha plenty of sites to check out rankings for the more casual viewer. I'd also be up to setting it up/running it as well. figured we had a decent amount of people residing in the US here plus anyone overseas who'd be interested lol

Cool, you can have 4 to start a league, which we have now but that is crazy and boring, as everyone gets a brilliant team. In my experience, 8 or 10 is a good number and anything over 14 you are looking at 1-2 really good players per team.

You want to set it up @USABlue ? Personally I think NFL.com is best for beginners. What say you?
