I kind of agree, but I think its rare that once you have a number, you give it up for someone else. So I would expect Hibbert to keep number 2, unless we sign a world class Right Back who demanded it. Same with the number 9 situation and Kone.

I do find it odd though that some of the young players have taken such high numbers when there are lower ones available, but then players get superstitious about numbers and if they cant have their first choice, will try and get one that adds up to it and all that rubbish....

Don't the club specifically say don't take the squad numbers as true until they are officially confirmed? Mindless fool.

From working with shirt printing a few years ago it's nigh on impossible to get off once it's on mate.

Totally agree mate. There is a clear message in the shops and online that players may change numbers etc.
