Possibly yeah. Just worry as when he gives the ball away Mikey... I mean fans will be on his back right away.
I will be well peeved if Goodison does that. I understand the crowd reacting negatively to the turgid, sideways passing, ticka tacka BS we were subjected to last year. But anybody that gives it a go, takes on the line, tries to get round the back?... they demand support. It's better to have tried and failed, than never to have tried at all.

I'd agree.

But I reckon he'll be afforded time to develop by the crowd. I'm all for booing, don't get me wrong, but not when a player loses the ball. After a bad match or half, boo by all means - I think it's wrong to single out players having a bad game. That's only going to compound the problem.

Anyway, I'm pleased we have an attacking minded player who is enthusiastic about Everton.

Can't wait to boo him as he attempts a step over against Ryan shawcross who puts him into the from row of the park end

The only time the crowd should boo is when the team clearly puts in a not-arsed performance, like the 0-3 against Martinez's Wigan. Deulofeu should not be booed at all otherwise he's not going to try the things that make people like him as a footballer.

Gerri Deli, or does that sound too much like a butty bar? A playmaker with experience will bring the best out of the potential we have at our disposal, whether we have the clout to bring one in is another matter.

I totally agree and I would just like to add. People should take into account the age of the player. I almost get the feeling that older players get an easier ride when it should be the other way around.

But in general I don't think booing helps. If we are playing negatively then a chant of "atttack attack attack" like Utd fans would do under Fergie is far better.
