Summer Transfer Window - Credible Rumours Only Please

Im sure I read that most teams in Europe want payment in full straight away and its only in the Prem that they pay over a number of years, could be wrong, but it explains why we mostly buy only cheaper players from Europe.

Dann, Deulofeu and Payet and I would be happy.

I'm also a bit disappointed we haven't heard anything about McGeady being sold as I suspect we will need to sell either him or Mirallas first.

Dann - 8m, Deulofeu - 8m and Payet - 10m
McGeady - 4m

Net spend - 22m

That would be a great window.

I tend to believe Martinez when he talks like this. There's still a lot of talk about Mirallas going. I do suspect we will only get Del if one leaves which would be a mistake.

Lads can I remind you that this isn't the thread for idle speculation, and McGeady being sold is just that.

Thanks lads.

Galatasaray winger Bruma would consider an offer from Sporting Lisbon according to football agent Catio Balde.

“Bruma would consider a move from Bruma if it was good for his future but I have no knowledge of interest from Sporting Lisbon,” Balde told the Record.

The agent also stated that Bruma is happy at Galatasaray and that he could stay at the club next season.

“Bruma players for Galatasaray and has a good relationship with the club we have several offers but will decide on his future with the club,” he added.

Bruma struggled for first-team action under former Galatasaray manager Cesare Prandelli but was given more playing time following the appointment of Hamza Hamzaoğlu.

Everton were reported to have made offers for Bruma this summer and have been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old winger according to the his Turkish representative Marko Kirdemir.

“This summer Everton and Monaco wanted Bruma on loan, they had been keeping tabs on him for a while,” Kirdemir told Radyospor.

Borussia Dortmund are also reported to be interested in Bruma but have not made an offer according to Balde.

“Borussia Dortmund did make an enquiry and they are interested but nothing has developed since January,” Balde told Antena 1.

The 20-year-old joined Galatasaray on a €10 million move from Sporting Lisbon last season and still has three years left on his contract.

You seen a lot of him?

Covered Ligue 1 quite a lot this season yes mate, and he's really come into his own after a tricky first season or two at Marseille. He likes to drop deep and spread play quickly, but is at his best on the left for me, cutting inside and linking play in central areas.

Looks like we will have to look elsewhere for a new centreback

According to reports from The Express yesterday morning, Marseille president Vincente Labrune has ruled out selling star centre-back Nicolas N’Koulou this summer amid rumours of a move to the Premier League.

The versatile Cameroon international, equally adept in centre-back and defensive midfield, has just come to the end of yet another strong season in Ligue 1 – averaging 2.1 tackles, 3.3 interceptions, 6.6 clearances and 3.4 successful aerial duels per match – building upon his prior inclusions in the division’s Team of the Year for 2012 and 2013.

That, in combination with the 25 year-old’s contract due to expire at the end of the season, has attracted interest from the Premier League. The Express report on Arsenal’s interest in the 51-cap international, whilst Everton and Newcastle were linked by The Daily Mail in May.

But Marseille president Vincente Labrune has issued a hands-off warning to rumoured suitors of 5 foot 11 N’koulou, insisting the defender’s importance to the club surpasses that of finance.

“We know how important he is for us. What he brings us on the pitch is more important than money in a transfer,” he said.

I seriously doubt we have any interest in the player.
