lol true mate, a weekend where we won't be sent into the sheer darkness and rage of an inept Everton performance and we can actually enjoy our Saturday and Sunday. Still I've got to be honest, I can't wait for Thursday though ;)
A QPR win today would ruin mine.

No proper Evertonian will still want Martinez to manage this club, the only 'Evertonians' who still want him are those who do not want to be seen as being wrong about him as a manager in the first place, which means they cant be proper Evertonians as they are putting themselves first.

Martinez out

Newcastle home is our next big game, and what an introduction that could be for our next manager. Similar to Royle V Liverpool in Nov 94 or Moyes V Fulham in March '02
I never wanted him in the first place and now I want him to stay. Have I passed your 'fit and proper' evertonian test?

He has to start performing miracles to turn that around. Don't think the future looks bright for him unless he by some freak of nature wins the EL.
Agreed. Unless he wins the Europa League, which I personally believe is somewhat unlikely, I think his tenure is in serious jeopardy.

While last season and our Europa League campaign have given him some credit, the season as a whole has been bordering on ludicrous.

Although he hopefully may still (and hopefully will) save us from the dreaded R-word, I can't see us being any higher than 13th or 14th.

Going on our current form it could easily be even lower, thus he needs to instil a drastic change of form to survive; we need to go on a run.

Unfortunately, I simply cannot see such a run occurring and instead we'll most probably scrape survival, although relegation is still a possibility.

With the number of farces we've had this season, it will simply just be too much. The majority of fans neither believe or trust he can turn it around.

Once the trust has dwindled to an unacceptable level, then I think Bill will have to act. Hope I am wrong... but it's becoming much more likely.

Ive had an epiphany.

Its time we stood together as a fanbase, forget the he said, she said bullsh, theres 11 players who need our support a week Sunday, lets not spend that time fighting, lets spend that time coming together as a fanbase, becoming as 1! We all share the 1 goal and thats to see Everton win.

Positive thinking will win this day.

Allez Allez Oh

I think they better quite talking tha bshid

I think they better quit talking that [Poor language removed] or else I'll hit um with a fat lip.

I was one of the unfortunate souls who travelled to Stoke on Wednesday and I have to say that was the most pathetic performances I've ever seen as an Evertonian. Martinez needs to pack his bags the man has no passion, no fight and no honour. He has taken a team who were predicted to challenge for the top four to a relegation battle.

Even worse than Hull? Surely that's not possible.

Inclined to agree with you mate,on what I saw,we had players getting involved with little feuds, instead of concentrating on the job in hand, some teams always look equipped to have a scrap when it's needed,I don't think we have the type of manager or players that that's we will need in the coming weeks I hope I am wrong, really do.

We gonna stay up without winning a game until the end of the season because all the other teams below us are total tripe.
