You cheered him last year and sang his name.

How does that feel now? Does the disloyalty cause any pain or embarrassment? It should do.
What utter bollocks

You've been banging the same monotone drum for months - for the last time - last season has gone lad, THIS season he's been an absolute embarrassment and has lead the club to the brink of total disaster in the league.

Even if we limp over the line, it's simply an unacceptable performance from him. Blues who've decided enough's enough are doing so based on what they consider to be the best thing for the club at this point in time i.e. The present ffs.

Personally I think you're a total disgrace in the way you've consistently attempted to polarise the debate around Maritnez, based solely around your own ego driven opinion on the bloke that you've been protecting since you nailed your colours to the Martinez mast. Your defence of the man isn't about the club or even the manager, it's about your ego and your inability to accept ever being wrong.

Totally agree.
Can anyone, even the staunchest martinez fan; honesty tell me what in God's name what that formation was with 20 mins to go?

He is totally clueless.

I've voted yes. He had enough time to turn it around. Just look at Klopp (and Brenda...) - his Borussia was in a total mess, in a relegation zone before the break, yet they're 8 points of 4th place. That's a sign of a good managament.

I would be against sacking him if he tried some changes, but we're not improving. In fact, it's getting worse and worse. If we repeat our December run of losses we'll be in big trouble. He needs to go.

Get Royle in, he's an authority, knows the club from bottom and is a tough man - that's what our players need now.

Dont know if this has already been posted but ... this almost seems like a warning from the past. A Wigan fan on RM 4 yrs ago.

(this was doing the rounds on twitter)

Said it months ago, but with every passing league game it appears as tho the players simply wont even try to win League games.

Defo lost that dressing room.

Sad to see really, the manager we had last season was amazing, but the fella we have now simply doesnt have a clue.

oh do feck off with these biased nonsensical votes after every damn defeat.

The problem isn't with the manager, it's with the players. It's the Managers job to snap them out of the mindset they're in at the moment.
Whether Bobby (or anyone else for that matter) can snap them out of it is a moot point.

Blaming Bobby just lets the players off the hook.

Nicely put.

Get off your high horse please. Evertonians are loyal TO THE CLUB not to any one individual. Nobody is bigger than club.

Roberto Martinez is a very nice man. I've met him. He's lovely. But just because someone is lovely doesn't mean that all of their obvious flaws and faults should be ignored. He is paid to win league games. He isn't doing that. We are setting some terrible points' records and it is an extremely worrying time, for people with any sense of gravity.

Football has always been about the here and now. Its why the phrase 'it's a results business' is used so often.

If we got relegated, it would be a catastrophe. We wouldn't get back up. The club would decline and decline like other fallen giants have done.

People wanting Martinez out is not disloyalty. It is a perfectly reasonable opinion, based on MONTHS of poor performances and results, and utterly questionable comments from the manager.

28 games into the season

Hasn't snapped them out of it or resolved the awful football we are witnessing

That equates to poor management; you've said it yourself. It's his job, he's failed

If I don't laugh I'll cry, still feel so deflated. Ironically our best period in the game came when we were playing no wingers whatsoever hahahahahahaha, Leon Osman for manager.

How about it being both?

Or perhaps it is the manager, with his ridiculous tactics, lack of width, playing no more than one winger a game, obsession with playing Barry & Howard, playing Barkley on the wing and playing others out of position routinely, freezing out Mirallas, lack of early subs, lack of good subs, and nonsensical, delusional post match comments.

Yeah, it might be some of that too.

Hes got a point, cos if we use his line of thinking, it was the players that last season claimed 5th, so in short, he does nothing, so sacking him wont make any difference either way.

I honestly think he will be gone tommorrow. I would like to see him get the points to ensure safety, finish the season and then move on for the good of all. He seems to be a nice bloke but way out of his depth, I think he has a lot to learn, and would rather see him learn his trade somewere else rather than at our football club ...... results, points matter!

I wouldn't at all be surprised if there were developments like that tomorrow or the day after.
