I only saw him do that twice, to be fair thats two times to many. I can't think of any tactical reason for doing that - ball to head, usually means to taller players.

i don't think he can kick it to where he aims tbh. he slices at least one a game out for a throw - i've kept an eye on this because in the whole time robles was in, not one went out for a throw and a lot of them actually landed on the head of naismith or lukaku. howard misses his targets by an absolute mile, they always go towards the edge of the field, mainly at the wingers who can't head. when it reaches that far that is, the others land in midfield around where barry stands.

robles' distribution is a hell of a lot better and robles' is hardly fantastic.

I think Howard needs to go to the MLS at the end of the season.

it is starting to get to me that we may be in a relegation battle with 5 games left if he continues in goal - he is that bad. lukaku was utterly terrible today, but we would have still won the game despite all his bad misses if we had a half competent keeper. That's 2 points dropped in a home banker today, how many more times will he do that to us this season to add to the 15 approx he's already done.
