This thread is a damp cereal poultice drawing out toxins symptomatic of over much existential angst....

...anyways, it's a glorious day here in Auckland. The whole country is really looking forward to our opening game tomorrow in the cricket World Cup.

Can't say I've even really looked outside today. Had a sparky from 8am over to try and fix up the mess that the original fellas that did the house in the 70's made. It was atrocious, I reckon I could have done a better job than them. Sparky reckoned it was worse than the worst case scenario he had in his head, and the worst he's seen in his working life. 'Earthed' wires actually live and neutrals stolen from power sockets for fittings, it was just entirely unsafe. Miracle really no-one was electrocuted and there hadn't been an electrical fire.

Sounds like a death trap mate. In my student days I lived in some pretty dodgy flats (mostly Kingsland and Mt Eden)...I shudder when I think of some of the electrical hazards we put up with. Halcyon days lol

Good luck with all the re-wiring.

And GO THE BLACK CAPS!!

There's these things called ring mains and proper fuse boxes
post a picture of your fuse box for the none kiwis to see what a lash up most houses are

I voted cheese and look at that, second highest number of votes. My vote for the silliest thread of the season.

Okay then if this is silly, at what point does it become decent ? Im hoping this is just a thread made out of concern for our club and by this time next year i will be singing his praises about us being well on course for a top 4 place and a FA cup run.
Flipside that, what if next season we are in the same position ? Do we then consider moving on from Martinez ? At what point does my thread become a case of ohhh look he was right ? One year from now ? Ten games into next season ? Relegation or Mid table obscurity ? Like my thread finishes.

Please Bobby prove me wrong.

I must say after what happened at Chelsea with our manager choosing Howard as keeper I have lost all respect for this guy, you cannot as a manager drop a keeper ( Robles ) who had kept three clean sheets and played well in the interim.
What signal does this give to the players, Howard cost us on average 15 points per season with his awful positioning way off his line gets chipped every time, doesn't command his box at corners if he plays this clown for the rest of the season then we are in trouble. HELP

I see where you're coming from, but the end of the season is still a while away. Don't shoot till you see the whites of their eyes.

I don't know if you are serious but Ossie's injuries have probably been the most damaging of all this season.....closely followed by Peinaar.

They are the boys who spot the little pass which puts Baines or Coleman in to make the "assist" for a goal.

Without thise two we have been clueless when it comes to picking the lock of a rigid defence.

Yeah agreed, I was being serious. Just makes me laugh all the fans around me year after year slating Ossie. Hes not Ronaldo but bloody hell I would have him in our team atm.
