Please this. Besic and McCarthy can match Chelsea for physicality in the middle and that front four should cause them problems. They're conceding goals lately, not as solid at the back as they have been. Defend well primarily but get at them better than we did Liverpool.

That's almost perfect. I like Kev on the right but it can't be done if Lennon plays.
 

If Barry, McCarthy and Besic are all available Martinez will play them again and go with 433. He said yesterday he'd have deployed this more often if those three had been fit at the same time.

It's one thing grinding out a draw against Liverpool with that, it's another playing a clinical team like Chelsea with it. We need this formation but to replace Barry with Barkley to offer more going forward....and we'll need way better passing than we had in the derby.

Aye, but United still won things in the '80's and still drew massive crowds.

Chelsea are an absolute no-mark club, but you're right, they were pretty well immediately prior to Roman's billions of dirty Russian money were poured into them.
 

Wow Barry to save us against Hazard .Pffffff what is with Roberto ? yes hes exp. , but FFS lost two balls against RS in area where u 90 % will be punished .So just on base of that he should rethink , but those are not only two balls that he [Poor language removed] up like that this season. And the most obvius point ,Barry will drop on one two with any two players becouse hes slowest DM, scratch that , hes slowest player in PL . So why hes playing every game and every minute even when we had spell of horrible form is beyond me.

Sadly mate no way Barry will be on beanch and neither Naisy who i like, but he just dont have pass in him.
 
i just seems like its one of those weird days where we could pull something off....then again we could get thrashed. but considering how our season has gone and where we are a draw would be a VERY good result and will extend a unbeaten run...that it the most important thing, if we keep it going, draws will inevitably turn into wins.
