Impact sub nothing more nothing less. Our play just breaks down whenever the ball passed to him. His ball control skill is a bit dreadful.

90% graft, 10% guile.

That'd be fine if he was a combative defensive mid or a CB. But when you occupy the role traditionally occupied by the team's most creative player, then the players around you suffer.

Very reminiscent of Cahill's last season.

I think we've the reached the point where his difficulties in possession have begun to outweigh the odd clever goal he manages. Maybe he's best used off the bench.

Needs to stop kicking the ball so hard to team mates in the attacking third, I get the quick ball is good going forward but because he puts so much power on it thereceiving player needs to take an extra touch to get the ball under control or they lose it on first touch.

The whole front three were below par today. Mirallas was poor, Lukaku light weight and Naismith largely ineffective after his apparent knock just before half time.

That said, none of the players behind them really did much to create for them so maybe it was simply a bad day at the office.

Tired of seeing him start. He's a sub at best. Great effort doesn't make up for awful first touch and sometimes horrible passing. Beyond confused as to why we keep seeing him ahead of barkley
