Just there now during his presser for the Merseyside Derby. The journo asked him who he thought was the greatest ever premier league player, and Martinez said Rooney and Henry. He was then asked if Gerrard was in that same bracket, and Martinez completely swerved it, and talked about how football is a team game, etc.

Really? Sky is shambolic and pretty much openly favours whichever team makes them more money in a certain game. BT Sport is LFC TV. A ridiculous channel hiring almost exclusively from the pool of ex Liverpool players, featuring Liverpool beating us in almost every advert they have, and were openly disappointed to see Liverpool not win the title. Not to mention that in their race for fourth discussions they never once mentioned the team who came fifth and were actually in fourth at the time! Sky is the lesser of two horrible evils (marginally). If you can't get to the game, best just tuning in for the action with the sound off, no pre match or half time 'analysis' aka three smug ex RS cronies guffawing to each other blatantly ignoring how some RS ref has conned three points for der mighty red men.

Lost count how many times WE have gone in to a derby "bang in form" only to end in failure.

And then we he pursued the Slippy angle, his answer of "the Goodison derby is always our derby" was a perfect response.

I can't be certain, but I think it was the same journo who earlier asked "is this poor season made worse because Liverpool are so far ahead of you" or something to that effect.
