His position is probably our strongest, with Naismith and Barkley already vying. I love the lid, but this isn't a move that will or should happen.

If this was last season's Everton then i'd have been against it. But we could do with someone who battles like him.

Clearly not happening but i'd love to see him back on a short term contract, based on the position we find ourselves in with the lack of leaders in the squad.

He's a free agent so he can sign for who he wants when he wants - not subject to the transfer deadline rules and there might be some desperate teams come tomorrow morning.

Stayed 18 months too long last time, high wages, not suited to the style we want to adapt too, cant see what position he would get a look in, as either a starter or off the bench. Wouldnt offer a goal threat like some think he would

Keep the good memories
Eto was on 80-100k a week. I bet Tim wouldn't ask anywhere near that.

To see him get a sh!te player in a headlock one last time would be fantastic, but he's had his time here and we don't need anymore players over 30. Thanks for everything Tim but I'd only welcome him back in the coaching staff for headers.

Jib the romance boys and girls. He may have been fantastic for us over the years, however he had already declined significantly by the last year.

That was the reason why he was allowed to go to the MLS. He may suit another club, but I do not think he's what we needs or will offer much.
