Nah.

Not one bit. It'd need to be a lot worse than that for it to be considered.

I've always maintained that what happens to those below us will be more pertinent to any Martinez dismissal.

Leicester, Hull and QPR look increasingly done and dusted to me.

We can go the next three awkward games with barely a point from them and we'd struggle to find ourselves below 13th or 14th.

Our owners ultimate remit is PL safety...anything else is a bonus that keeps fans off their backs.

Leicester have won 3 in their last 5 aswell as drawing at Anfield
Hull have very won 2 in their last 6 one a 2-0 win AGAINST EVERTON. We have 1 win in 13
QPR are woeful away from home but have been very tough at home. Without looking i bet they have picked up more points than us at Home

Too say these teams look increasingly done and dusted is incredible and the bizareness of your posts continue to astound me. By far the worst team in the league at the moment is Everton

top 8 is 12 points away. our fixtures until mid March are Palace (a), Liverpool (h), Chelsea (a), Leicester (h), Arsenal (a), Stoke (a).

Assuming 8th doesn't gain a point where can you see 12/13 points coming from?

Pushing top 8, not in it. If that gap is closed to 5-7 points by then I would consider us to be pushing them with 3 months left and other teams having more cup distractions etc etc

No but surely a man of his football philophercy should have better equipped back room staff instead of trying to go for this boot room style of employment to try to give this stupid impression of the club being one big family and believing ex players with no real experience or even no how can do a good job. Saying that a club like ours should be able to steal the manager of a club like Southampton easily. Under this scenario I would say go for it.

Beat Palace and Liverpool and it's a different ball game. Lose them both and it's probably the end.

Time will tell...
Thing is Bluegirl, lose them both and it's probably the end of our survival chances as well! Why give him two more chances is the question. He's had 24 matches of domestic competition to get it right. He's succeeded in just 5 of them! At any other club, in any Division, he'd been drawing his dole money before now. Pearce has just saved his job at Forest with a local derby victory. IF Martinez is still with us by then, he'll need to do the same to save his.

Top 8 is an absolute pipe dream. We would have to hit league winning form from here on in and others in the top 8 would have to be worse than their current top 8 form. There is no evidence we are capable of stringing any sequence of wins together.

It's ok though, we can string a load of passes left and right like a dream. All the way across defence, it's a sight to behold. Who needs goals, possession stats ftw!

There is plenty of evidence, we have got a brilliant starting 11 and decent enough second 11. We have just dipped in form, it can happen. We'll be back and stronger for the experience we are going through now.

Only problem is the dip in form has been all season

This dip in form has been going on since last April. Relegation form since then.

Not including the 5 winless games in preseason
