Baines looks good?, fair enough I thought he looked a bit rodwell'esque kind of like a spectator or spare ref, there, but not really doing anything

Is Distin turning into the next Phil Neville of two seasons ago, he was past it but kept going till the Wigan cup debacle, just wondering what similar disaster we'll have to go through before he sees the light?

Where exactly is Baines playing? Has he been in the game at all?

Kone´s been very impressive.

Still, we look more likely to lose than to go on to win at this stage.

Really? Baines is playing as a box-to-box CM, he's been making tackles and leading the charge in the pressing-game.

Some absolutely pathetic play going on in defence. Manager's instructions are completely baffling. Is he genuinely telling them to look for the player most under pressure, then play a suicide ball to his weaker foot? Because that's what they're doing, time after time. It's a joke.

Distin has again been a liability. Has he lost all strength and positional awareness? He's being bullied everywhere and can't appear to head a football any more. Sooner he is shipped out the better. Alcaraz and Garbutt completely fine, while Coleman put a wonderful ball in for the goal and just needs a bit of confidence, imo. I'd be happy with a back line of Coleman - Stones - Alcaraz - Garbutt.

Baines and Eto'o are putting in a great shift, and Kone has been impressive. McGeady is pants. McCarthy and Barry playing as expected - slow and not really doing much. Need creativity in there.

This is there for the winning, but that means we'll probably end up losing.

Going for 2-1 to them, red card villian Cisse to score it no doubt.
