I'll admit during his 1st season I thought he looked like a championship player at best.he showed a lot of bottle and never hid when things weren't going for him.every team needs players with that type of attitude

For sure, a lot of footballers would have sulked and tried to get out!

He's an important player, it was obvious when he was out for a few games that something was missing! Gary Neville picked up on it, and even the kopites carragher and redknapp always speak highly of Naisy, they understand what he brings to a team!

Whilst I quite like Naismith, I'm not sure how not rating him has anything to do with a new contract? Osman, Hibbert & co are awful but were awarded new contracts, do you rate them too?
