Then why buy him?

Cos Mourinho told us to.

Have to agree i think the same most games, but that said we most probably be in a even worse position right now without him n his goals and we'd be saying "we shouldve bought that Rom"

Exactly.

Some fans just don't get it. They'd sooner have an Andy Johnson running the byline.

I agree that he thrives in a style which feeds him correctly, but surely even things aren't going your way the minimum you can do is put effort into a cause. I love rom when he's on it, but the amount of time he is caught offside in simple forward play needs to be sorted out.

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Stones Baines
McCarthy
Besic Barkley
Naismith
Lukaku Mirallas

Roberto won't change the formation but that's who it should be. None of these 10 step over wingers. Kev and Rom have the understanding up top. Naismith movement creating space for Ross from deep and Besic and McCarthy have got the legs and tackles. Sorted.

cool glad your happy with that performance, and the rest of the season, supporting Everton must be a blast for you, cool cat, we are the dogs x
Mate if you want a cup final winning performance every week, go support Real Madrid. But apparently you don't like overseas fans either so I don't know what to tell you.

We've been absolutely devastated by injuries this year and are doing our best to cope. We've got key players still out and half the ones on the pitch are still carrying knocks. Our league form has suffered and it's not pleasant viewing looking at the table right now. But if you can't take any joy from a clinical performance against a hardworking team desperate for a result then I don't know what you want from being a supporter.

Oh and we've been absolutely bossing it in Europe too, you're free to think what you want but I'm not going to call for the manager's head because we lost away to Spurs and City.

So the ball goes long to him and your saying he shouldn't look for an aimless flick on?

Instead he jumps an inch of the deck loses the header and the regain possession

Actually to me he always seems to run under the ball and it ends up going over both their heads. It's weird it happens every time. I would love him to show his strength in those positions and bring it down on his chest but hopefully that side of his game will come. In the meantime I like having a striker who even though he's having a quiet game still looks likely to score.

Was he offside tonight?

He's told where to play. Disciplined.

He scored in his last 4 at Goodison. One game and the knives are out. Embarrassing.
