Anyway, hope Mirallas isn't injured. Shame for Eto'o. Quiet from Coleman, and Besic would take on the imperial fleet if he could just get NASA to take him up there.

The biggest problem is the gap between Defence and midfield when we are being attacked, QPR passes through us far to easily

Let's put things into perspective, Evertonians, (not the american internet kind) things are not cool, we are not the same team as last year yet we have the same personnel, what is going on?
Internet Evertonians be quiet!!

Colemans been average since he got injured, Baines is always looking sideways or backwards, so the fullbacks aren't as good as last year. We've missed Naismith, now we're missing McCarthy and John Stones is a massive loss. Howard and Barry have also been dodgy this year and it feels like it's been a long hard season already and the injuries have been catastrophic. Europa league is a tough place to be, but I'm glad we're in it, but we're not coping very well squad wise.

I hope we get some good 1st team players in this transfer window or we're not going to make it to the end of the season.

Good result, decent enough performance. Besic and Barkley were really excellent.

The injury to Mirallas really put a downer on things though. You can't expect to challenge at the top end of the league if you can't even get remotely close to getting a first team out all season and get short, medium and long term injuries in the majority of matches, all while dealing with European competition. Sadly, for this reason I can't see us pushing back up the league particularly quickly. As soon as Stones comes back, Mirallas is gone. You have to expect another big player to go by the time McCarthy returns. I'll go for Barkley.

If we can salvage top 8 and have a good crack at the EL and FA cup (quarter final or further) at this ridiculous rate of injuries, I'll be happy.

Good: Barkley, Besic, Naismith, Mirallas
Ok: Lukaku, McGeady (apart from the first 45 when he was muck), Coleman, Baines,
The rest were pretty poor really, Distin and Howard are costing us too many goals now tbh.

QPR are woeful and will deffo be relegated, but you can only beat who's in front of you, apeven though we made hard work of it in the 2nd half. When all fit I reckon Barkley Besic and MCCarthy need to play in a 433, with Rom watching his back as Kone is raring to go if he drops the standard. Let's go on a run and see what happens, as this league is pretty awful barring 2-3 teams.

I never said it was a great performance, Just stop trying to guess what could have happened against another team ffs
The point wasn't guessing the score. There is room for improvement, which is going to be needed against better teams.

But if you want to see my comment as a guess of how it could have been today, fine.

The long and short of it is we get 1-2 key injuries and it ruins us

We have chopped and changed all season and we constantly have players coming back in getting match fit
