Deffo, great gesture, should've made them all buy a shirt though...bad business again Elstone!
They did but there was no kits left in their size

So was there Krasnodar fans in the usual Bullens away end and the Main Stand?
20,260 ! Not bad considering
A) a dead rubber anyway
B) live on ITV
C) weather
D) near to Christmas and a packed fixture list.
Well done all that could make it !
haha i could see them from the park end, bouncing and singing...almost sounded like a russian version of Everton at times!
20000 used to be the benchmark for a decent attendance
The club gave them suite tickets for free as only 14 could afford to travel! Nice touch that!14 of them in the main stand next to where I am,noisy ruskies never shut up all game long, kept shouting "sit down lads, trying to watch the game here" but they did't seem to understand,I don't know whylol
83/84, 92-94ish we often struggled to get 20k, when we did the crowd would clap/cheer half-heartedly. When it was lower than 20k there'd be groans in the crowd.
They blatantly "amended" the gates when there was standing areas, used to be guffaws of laughter at certain games when the attendance used to flash up on the old Park End Scoreboardlol83/84, 92-94ish we often struggled to get 20k, when we did the crowd would clap/cheer half-heartedly. Defo true that dario.i think a few of the lads who worked on the turnstiles are enjoying a nice early retirement. A bit like the mersey tunnel operator's of the 70s and 80sThey blatantly "amended" the gates when there was standing areas, used to be guffaws of laughter at certain games when the attendance used to flash up on the old Park End Scoreboardlol
Correct. They even had the nerve to post an official attendance of only 38,000 for the match when Latchford got his 30th goal. Look at any photos of that game and you won't detect one empty seat and you'll see absolutely packed terracing. They blatantly "amended" the gates when there was standing areas, used to be guffaws of laughter at certain games when the attendance used to flash up on the old Park End Scoreboardlol
I know the players were on to it too mate,I saw Sharpy interviewed a while ago and they were on a bonus if the attendance was above a certain level, apparently the players were never out of the secretary Jim Greenwoods office querying the figureslolDefo true that dario.i think a few of the lads who worked on the turnstiles are enjoying a nice early retirement. I always remember a 3-3 with United, think they came up with 28000 and there was around 40000 in the ground, now I do remember the laughter that daylolCorrect.
