The club will not be sold any time soon, massively improved P&L A/C plus Balance Sheet, the prospect of a new stadium - partially subsidised, great manager and squad with realistic prospects of silverware and/or Champions League .

No reason for existing shareholders to sell, other than for a huge premium
Surely more attractive an option then to big money buyers...hence more profit for shareholders?

And the main reason behind lowering the debt, imo. I'm happy that the debt has been reduced, but I think the next lot of money needs to go on either the playing squad or the new stadium. Our debt is tiny and entirely manageable now, and ultimately it is the playing squad that makes the cash so I think it should be given greater priority.

Agreed...need to keep investing in the squad first and foremost ;)

The new TV deal will be even bigger. For the first time since the Premier League era began Sky face stiff competition for the prime TV slots from BT. They've already blew them out of the water for Champions League coverage, Sky cant afford to lose the main Premier League games. They'll have to bid big when the tender goes out, can you imagine Sky Sports without Champions League & Prime PL games?

As for our figures, great reading. We should for another year bring down the debt further whilst giving the manager abit to play around with.

After that it's time to think long term. Give Roberto some funds and put a chunk aside for a new ground, same again the year after until we've got sufficient funds. With grants / sponsorship / council help we could finally be in a position where realistically we can afford to move.
This basically. Great summary.
Would like to see total spend on agent fees in accounts or is this still a grey area?
Also looking say five seasons ahead with similar accounts are we ok on the FFP side of things?

Wouldn't be suprised if we will use the next 2 seasons to clear the debt completely before taking out a big loan to cover the cost for a new stadium + funds from naming rights + funds from partners in the stadium project.
