I respect anyone who has ever been considered as talented enough to wear our royal blue Jersey by whoever was in charge at the time.

Maybe some haven't turned out so well and some have left under a cloud but respect is due to anyone who has ever played for Everton FC?
I am in the 100% support while they wear the RBJ but ongoing respect depends on many things which means it can be lost no matter how much I loved them. Most recent example for me personally as a player being Snidey mikel. Wish failure on very few ex blues but lost all respect for him with his play acting against us. There is doing your best for your current team which is correct and being a snide. He crossed the line. Nice OG last season though.
Secondly re Moyes. I believe we owed him a massive debt in the early years and always hoped he would take that final step towards getting us a trophy. No probs with him getting a move after a long shift here. But IMO we had become Moyes FC in his eyes and the patronising way he tried to put martinez down was an absolute disgrace especially after he went mad at Mark Hughes for talking us (and him!!)down over lescott. RM was not a universally popular choice remember and was under a lot of pressure. Did not need previous boss here talking him down like that. And as for the "I'd do what was best for the players guff"..... Do me a favour Davie!! Don't actually wish him ill though just not do better than us.

Martin Keown & Gary Linekar, always got the impression they both thought they were better than playing for us despite us being champions at the time in the case of Linekar. I remember reading a book by a former hooligan who when at an away match kicked Keown up the arse as he didnt want to partake in a kick about with some fans, always thought it was justified.

Neville obviously, but I hated him even when he was here.

Arteta to an extent, he was always a snidey little b*stard but he's become 10x worse since going to Arsenal.

Lescott because he behaved like a child and had an appalling attitude to force his move.

Don Hutchinson was mouthing off about how much he regretted leaving Liverpool and generally spouting crap the cult would love about them as a club. I turned my nose up, tutted loudly and flicked over, that'll show him.

How about the embarrassment that was Glen Keeley?
Sent off in his one and only game for fouling Dalglish and we get hammered 5.0 by the S****!

Abel Xavier, McMahon and Barmby for going to the dark side
