I just read Osman's Echo piece and think he has misinterpreted proceedings resulting in Evertonians general disinclination toward David Moyes. Specifically, it was not that he came back for Baines and Fellaini, nor was it even the "derisory bid" of 27million. Rather, it was the 'Everton should jump to Man Utd desires' theme that he introduced into proceedings. And this 'little brother' mindset of Moyes subsisted whilst he was managing Everton. Any manager of EFC who subordinates the club who employs him, to the wishes of some other club, is going to meet with opprobrium by blues supporters...and that's what happened.

Leon needs to acquaint himself with this reality.

I still like him for the service he has given to the club, whatever his opinions are.

I disagree with him but that doesn't detract from my opinions of him as a player.

‘He’d come to watch the game and should have been out first, but he was last as though he was the big draw for the day. I just couldn’t believe it. It was incredible.
