I was thinking we'd be getting the Chelsea Eto who admittedly just didn't seem like his heart was in it but figured hey its a free and we always need strikers. Maybe because he was platooned out wide and that his responsibilities were defense first.

I wasn't predicting how good he'd be or how much he seems to like it here. I don't think he smiled once at Chelsea.

Caught a bit of Hawsbury and Jacobs on Talksport and they were doing a quiz of what happened on the show in the last 7 days. Anyway there most have been a report on the show who is the most arrogant footballer in the world. Jacobs got in right straight away.......Samuel Eto. I don't know where this list is compiled from or by whom. But when you think of Coleman, Martinez, Lukaku and McCarthy has said about him, they all say what a top bloke and how well he has fitted in.

most arrogant in the world? haha give me a break

It may have just been a case of adapting to the Premier League, last season. If he gets upwards of 10 goals this season and then it's an unbelievable signing.

As well as what he offers on the pitch, i would love to see the effect he is having on the lads and MANS AN DEM.

When the news started to break about Eto coming to us I thought he is looking for a last payday. He will turn up take his pay and cause trouble with having a bad attitude. I then read a price about Martinez having talked to him and was won over. I still thought this will end badly, just goes to show what I know. He has been brilliant. When you look around and see what other teams have got for big money we have played a blunder there.
