Baines was immense. Barry was quality. McCarthy was superb 2nd half. But goals win games and Eto'o was simply delicious today. 3 brilliantly worked goals as well. That has topped off a great Sunday where we can sit back now and watch Chelsea beat Utd which will move us up to 8th. Well in Everton, well in Eto'o you legend

All three goals were fantastic. We were a little light on in the middle, and slow until Ross came on but we pretty much controlled the game, bar some nervy moments when Burnley played quite well.

Eto'o is a class above though. Surreal that he's a Blue.

well done blues, great win 7 points in 8 days including 2 away trips is nothing to be sniffed at. eto'o didn't put a foot wrong all game. burnley could possibly say a draw would have been fair and quite possibly you couldn't disgaree with them, but howard hasn't made 1 save all match, we've scored 3 hit the bar and hit the post.

thought osman had a really good second half, but is still failing to realise he has less time than he thinks in the prem - he should be experienced enough to know. i also like alcaraz, he's a good footballer, he's just not very tall and it does seem his undoing. i think he'd probably make a better DM tbh, lovely passer of the ball and confident in possession, he needs a tall dominating centre back next to him though imo.

we were great going forward and showed our class in spurts during that game - it was never going to be fluid with all the games we've played, but just about deserved win.

need to find a way of accomating eto'o, lukaku and barkley in a team as well as possibly naismith who was great again - i really don't think it's possible though.

Very good away win, after playing in Europe, we could have gone up the gears if we needed too, but it was enough, very happy with that. Eto'o is boss. COYB!!!!!

Except for the last 10 minutes the game was played at a walking pace. Its worrying cos if we play like this after Euro nights against slightlt beter teams then it will be a problem for sure. Though Martinez should have put Besic/Gibbo on for the last 3 or 4 minutes.

Eto'o was amazing. Deserved the hatrick, been a while since we saw a hatrick since Yak. Any word why Oviedo and Atsu weren't on the bench?

We just won 3-1 away mate. Not the word i'd use.
