This is absurd people. Reminds me of how many people wanted Baines gone cause he was very lackluster for much of his first year or so.

Neither is in a good run of form right now. But both will also have hot streaks as both players have undeniable ability on the pitch. Which will have a better cost to goal ratio this year? don't know, but that is a narrow view of value. Eto'o and Naismith are both far better "values" certainly if that is how you define it.

That being said, Lukaku is the one that acts like a professional and truly wants to be part of something great and understands and values a team. 5 years from now, Lukaku will be an established world beater in blue, and Balotelli will still be a journeyman mercenary moving every year or two until he wears out his welcome.

With Eto'o and Duncan mentoring him, I really think he will be something special for us.
