Do you enjoy supporting Everton?
yes i love supporting everton , hes not one of our own, hes not good enough to play and he wont be for a season or two if ever, why should we develop other teams players. we need our loan signings to be ready NOW, not in a season or 2. lukaku and barry had performed in the premiership and were good loan signings, deulofeu was much highly thought of by barcelona and at least had the physical presence to make an impact. atsu has not.

i dont unnderstand why people want to persist and give time to someone we only have for 1 season, may as well play one of our own and give them experience, sooner see garbutt get the experience or ledson, at least develop one of our own, atsu just isnt ready, why do you want to persist with a chelsea player who quite obviously isnt up to it at this time. give one of our younger players his spot , he wont do any worse

sometimes you just know when someone isnt going to cut it at this level, you can see he will never have the physical presence or power to make a top premiership player, i will alays give players a chance if i can see something but i cant see anything that he has which is a positive, hes not 17/18 hes 22 years of age, look at stirling whos 19 and altho quite small has a lot of strength and power, we have him on loan for 1 season, we dont have years to let him develop, and we certainly havent got the time to develop another teams player, hes on loan not one of our own, we need players ready to come into the team when needed he wont be ready for a season or 2 , sorry were not a charity for other teams unwanted players. my view like it or lump it im not assed

Sorry but it's not that straightforward - there are so many factors that can impact a players career. All those calling the lad out for being too small should think about the fact that Maradona is 1.66 m and Messi is 1.69m- two of the best ever. Clearly height is not an issue at any level. Also the fact he is 22 - so what!! IF anything thats a plus - hopefully he will be a better player than he was at 18. At a team like Chelsea he was never going to start, if he can get a run in our team who knows how he will develop. Just look at how old some of the players below were before they broke through.

Didier Drogba signed his first pro contract when he was 21.
Wikipedia: “Former Le Mans coach Marc Westerloppe later remarked that “it took Didier four years to be capable of training every day and playing every week”. Furthermore, Drogba’s complicated family life meant that he had never attended a football academy and only began daily football training as a fully grown adult.
By age 21, Drogba realized that he had to establish himself as a player soon or else he would have little chance of becoming a professional footballer. He made his first team debut for Le Mans soon thereafter and signed his first professional contract in 1999.

Luca Toni, now 33, was a journeyman of Serie B and Serie C1 before signing for Palermo (then an ambitious Serie B outfit) in 2003. 30 goals in his debut season brought promotion and 21 goals the following year, his first in Serie A, brought acclaim. For Fiorentina he scored 33 goals and for Bayern Munich an incredible 39 goals in his debut seasons for the respective clubs. Luca Toni went from obscurity to being one of the most prolific goal scorers in Europe for five years (and this all happened after the age of 25 in the topflight).

Miroslav Klose worked as a builder and brick-layer before starting football, and while playing at FC Homburg at the ages of 19-20 (who were in the 5th division of Germany when he played) in 1999. After this initial phase of developing his foundations, his talents were fully fledged and demonstrated suddenly and dramatically on the world stage at the World Cup 2002, where he claimed the Golden Boot.

Van Nisterlooy started his career with second division dutch team Den Bosch when he was 19.

Kevin Phillips (born July 25th, 1973) was released by Southampton in his youth and signed for a non-league semi-professional side, Baldock Town, where he was moved to a striker role; eventually he was signed by Watford on 19 December 1994 for £10,000. He went on to play over 500+ games for teams like Sunderland and Aston Villa. He also represented England for a short time.

You never know how a player will turn out - until he has been here a season or two, it's too early to judge.

DEN DISS 1 LAD SED "I HOPE YOU STUB YOUR TOE" EVERYBODY CRACKED UP AND EVEN LITTLE ATSU HAD A LITTLE SMILE, COS HES 1 BAD MIDGET AND EVERYTHING HE DOES IS LIKE TOTES BLATES SMALL COS HES A MIDGET

YNWA

What's your problem goat? I know there are probably many, but just pick one ad we'll work on it. Together x

sooner see garbutt get the experience or ledson
How would dropping Atsu help them? Garbutt is a left back, Ledson is a defensive midfielder and Atsu is a winger who so far has played primarily on the right.

The only winger from our youth squad who was in preseason was Kennedy and he is on a six month loan to Hibernian.

Why not give Atsu a few more games to settle in before leaping to any conclusions.

Doesnt change the fact he hasnt played much. Doesnt change the fact you based your dumb rant on just a few games and your amazing ability to just know.

If he makes a decent contribution to at least ten games this season he will have been a good squad member and worth having.

He's got my support anywho, he could probably do without yours anyway ;)

Remember how much everyone hated Naismith? He'll tap a few in and will be 'ace' by January.
naismith was coming back

you went to all this trouble and totally missed my point, we have him on loan for 1 season, we havent got time to develop players for the future, we need a loan signing that can come in and do a job NOW not in the future

its totally dumb to hope he does well in last 10 games, we have him on loan and we would be best having someone who can come in and do a job NOW , hes not upto it at this time, i would sooner put one of our OWN young players in and develop them and HOPE he comes good last 10 games,
