The ref is to really blame for their goal. Timmy coulda done better like, but it was a good free kick.

He made the telling deflection on the most important moment against Balotelli. That slightest of touches put that ball onto, and over the bar. That is a fact. DEFO should have scored...Tim saved it. End of.

didn't have one hard save to make today mate and still didn't get a clean sheet. he's had a very poor start of the season, i don't see why he shouldn't be dropped for a game or two, think robles deserves a chance tbh.

nothing wrong with that. howard's got a terrible shot to save ratio so far this season.

I always thought 'BRILLIANT' saves are the ones that are hard to do... but you actually MEAN it. Being lucky and the ball hitting your shoulder as you're about to randomly fall to the floor isn't brilliant, it's lucky. There IS a difference.

I'm not Howards biggest fan as I was lucky enough to see the greatest goalkeeper in the World in his prime in Neville Southall.

The save by Tim Howard from Balotelli was World Class though.

Having said that, howard gets a full hand on it. Surprisingly weak hand. Howard for me isnt totally at fault.

It was his wrong hand . A good keeper would have taken his right arm. Look at Mignolet on jagielkas goal . Tries to get the ball with his right arm the ball flying in his left corner but to high to reach it .
