Should we break up the Distin/Jagielka partnership.

Inspired by the Barry/McCarthy thread.

Personally, think we should. I don't think they're bad defenders, but they seem to be on different wavelengths, and at the moment they both appear to be panicking under pressure (which is never good for a back line).

We looked more assured with Stones at the back, and I'm not saying that's because Stones is World Class (yet) but he seems a lot calmer on the ball. Sticking him at centre back would also stop us sticking him at RB where he's useless.

I don't think Distin playing has been our problem, I think it's the fact that Stones hasn't been playing.

When either Distin or Jags plays with Stones, they seem to be calmer, and more composed, and I think they have a good understanding with the youngster.

Should we break up the civil partnerships? This thread got me thinking that there's too many partnerships in our team and the latent homosexuality is ruining team moral. It also leaves us disappointed when we try and come from behind.
