In my eyes this is a Gareth Barry type signing. Eto'o will be banging in the goals for us, as he's perfect competition for Lukaku and has proven at every level that he's a world class talent.

How many Champions League medals has this chap got? He doesn't seem like he's lost any of that drive that has made him successful at every club he's been with.

Imagine you're Long or McAleny or even Lukaku sitting at the lunch table in FF and Samuel Eto'o just walks through decked out in Everton merch.

Its going to be a massive boost to all our strikers. Especially the younger ones. He's got to slot a few goals in and give so much help to other players to improve their game. Lukaku especially!

Martinez puts up inspirational stuff round the training ground/dressing rooms to get the lads heads in the right place, if he pins Mourinho's quotes about his ago on Eto'o's (how odd does that look) locker then he'll be fuming the whole two years he's here, always up to prove him wrong.

It's a huge boost for everyone. His presence will lift the squad. Don't quote me on it but with me being roughly the same age as Barkley, Stones, Lukaku etc. they'd have been watching Eto'o in his prime growing up and now they're playing with him. Mad.
