Christian Atsu

Chelsea have so many wingers, they probably wont want Atsu either when it comes to it. I think the way i see it is it's a trial period for both club and player. If we like Atsu and he likes us then we'll sign him permanently.

Exactly. if a rule needs changing, they should change the rule so that a club cannot LOAN OUT more than four or five players. That would soon sort out Chelsea and there farming plan.

I hope Atsu thinks is better on the pitch than his listening skills. He needs every question repeated in the press conference. :D Whatever, it was just a striking contrast to see the talkative Martinez and the laconic Atsu one after the other.

Probably a combination of nerves and not being used to the accent.

Poor sod is going to be very confused by Barkley.

If Martinez wants to make it permanent next season he's gonna have to play this one smartly, of all our 3 loans last season the 2 that stayed (lukaku and Barry) both played regulary whilst the bit part player Del decided to move on, I just hope Martinez looks at this lad as pienaar's long term successor and plays him in most of our games with pienaar coming on for him as a sub/playing in the Europa league/cup games
But Deulofeu is worth big money to a team that needs the player more, and in a different league. Hard to say that playing him more would have changed things, but I would have liked it regardless.
