Temper Expectations

I don't expect everything to fall in place at once.

Europa League and 3rd place in the BPL will do for the upcoming season.

Maybe I should've been clearer i am talking about the League

Deep cup runs...Champions League...Europa at worst.

Champions League is an achievable target definitely. It's not a given though. All I'm saying in a roundabout way is not too be disappointed if we finish 5-6th again we have spent but so have people around us.

The difference for me is Martinez is building a young side, and the fruits of his labour may not ripen for a season or two.

Long term success is much better. I see this in motion.

Sorry mate, I'm embracing the feel good factor and have more optimism than I've had any year since 1985.

I'm not tempering my expectations, I've waited too long for this feeling to return.

That'd be a trophy and double Champions League qualification. Adequate.

We have boss players, a boss manager and a boss chance of actually hurting teams all over Europe.

Anybody that isnt excited about the upcoming season should take a walk, find a bridge and (removed by FBI).

Only Everton temper my expectations.

I'm not tempering my expectations, I've waited too long for this feeling to return.

I feel good as well but the fall will be harder if we don't have real expectations. 2/3 seasons and we will be right in the mix.

Who knows for sure though it's all opinions at the end of the day.

The last few seasons I remember being overly optimistic,things have gone horribly wrong.

So I'll remain cautiously optimistic for the time being.
