Didnt make the Talkpsort news, so if that was the source then it is a lie, They did mention Rio Ferdinand was happy to be at QPR so if that was important enough to keep our bid for Lukaku out then fiar enough, but I doubt is, I'd say it was more likely that Twitter source was just rehashing our head of signings quotes from Saturday night

It's a simple question really - Have we made a firm bid to Chelsea which has been accepted? Or have we enquired about his availability and they've told us to wait until he comes back from holiday to see what happens? Roberto has got to be keen to sort this one out ASAP after that video at the weekend. We do need to start getting some deals confirmed soon though. We need a win vs Leicester!

I would recommend that nobody gets their hopes up. One person tweeted that and everyone started recycling it, he may have just completely made it up. Been listening to TalkSPORT for last 10 minutes and yet to mention it.

Even he disregards Kone as our no. 9.

On an unrelated note, it must be a hell of a hard task to avoid saying anything ambiguous, or as in his case joking, because he's instantly questioned about claiming the deal to be done even though quite obviously he was just being unserious. There's always a camera watching every step.

I would find it a bit strange if when roberto gets asked ''are we getting rom?'' he replies with the answer ''course we will get him'' if he wasn't sure that a deal would be going through.

Correct. He wants to avoid looking like he's talking about other teams players that's all. He believes 100% we are signing him. I can assure you he's telling people that privately.
