Or maybe with only costa and Torres on there books he knows keeping Rom is pretty essential?

Ok they may bring drogba back as a player/coach, but he doesn't offer too much these days tbh.

Jose will need to sign another big name (cavani maybe) if he lets lukaku go.

It could just be Chelski's way of trying to get the best deal possible for them.

As noted the odds are still suggesting nothing other than a transfer to Everton is imminent.

You're probably right though, it would've have gotten this far if all parties weren't interested in making a deal. They're likely just sending a message that they're prepared to hold out. It's like last week's story that LFC were interested in him. It's all designed to test Everton's incontinence.

Yep, if Jose was wanted Lukaku, he would have said ages ago unless he failed in his replacement and we're hearing about one of their players from Egypt off for national service, my money is on that they want more money and no deal been agreed yet.
