Taking a number off a player, unless they ask to change, is a proper slap in the face. It doesn't matter how useless a player might be, it's not on to completely show them disrespect by taking an established number off them and giving it to someone else. We're not the type of club who would do that.

To be fair, I think he's just an idiot. Forshaw had his favourite number, I think it might have been 41, so he went with it. He spent half that season on loan at Brentford and didn't appear once for Everton.
