Amen. I've never seen this type of football interest in the states. I'm the "soccer guy" in my office and have been directing people to Everton and the EPL all month. Shame the run has ended but so many American fans are hooked on the sport and will gravitate to Everton when the season starts. It truly is a damn crime Everton aren't coming stateside this summer but between Howard playing lights out and Martinez becoming a household name on television, we have a chance to cash-in if we can ship some kits, market the club and give people something to buy into.

I live in Alaska, a very small town in the largest US state. Let me tell you this, Everton FC will probably be getting around 17,000 (our population) orders for Tim Howard shirts. Everton are BIG here now let me tell you, they couldn't believe it when I also spread the word today that the two players who brought about USA's downfall were also Everton players. And don't get me started on what they thought about how much Landon Donovan means to us.

EFC are on the radar lids, big time here. LOL.

Played fantastic. Great keeper, will never forget that reflex save he pulled off against Scholes a couple of seasons back at Goodison - the one where it took a deflection and he was going the other way but managed to save it by kneeing it over the crossbar
