I actually quite like Carragher, was a massive blue like you or I, bad bad bell for playing for the RS obviously but it's not as he had a choice who scouted him.

His words, btw, @chicoazul, ''biggest blue in Bootle'' when he was younger.

Personally, if I were a pro and playing for Liverpool, I'd have made it clear I was a Blue at heart but giving everything for the club I was at.

I despise Phil Neville for example, but not for being a Man Utd fan. He was always a Manc, and all power to him, and if he ever pretended to be a Blue I'd despise him 10x worse. I despise him for being a brown nosing horror, that's all.

TBF, Reidy was from Huyton......

He's my... hang on... "fifth" favourite Everton player ever mate. Duncan Ferguson, Dave Watson, Dixie Dean (before my time obv but NEA), Kevin Ratcliffe and, bizarrely, Joe Parkinson (I was a 90s lad, sue me, committed as feck he was), and that's all, so no need to make a defence. Not meaning to criticise the guy at all as he's a legit legend.

See I think that's where we'll have to agree to disagree, I don't mind a player supporting the team he plays for, they're footballers at the end of the day. I've got 10x more respect for who do stick to their boyhood team tho and make no bones about that, (Rooney).

I do have a massive problem with Carragher's Dad tho. Massive bell. Was an Evertonian all his life and then the moment Carragher signed for Liverpool's academy started supporting them. Don't get that.

Didn't know that. That's outright ridiculous. I'd actually punch someone for doing that out of principle. And that applies to a Liverpudlian crossing the divide to Everton.
