Personally I find the whole pre-match YNWA sing-song painfully embarrassing, cringeworthy and awkward. It's the kind of thing that would only "work" for them. They have a huge amount of try-hard, scarf waving lids who need to latch onto something like YNWA to feel connected to the club so they can type it after every facebook post and cry and shake while singing it etc. This stance has zero to do with my not being fond of their club.
I reckon it probably makes them more marketable abroad, but I don't think it's something I fancy for Everton, despite that. Give me Z-Cars and the Goodison roar any day.
