Think this season's going to end pretty much how it looks now.

1. Man City
2. Arsenal
3. Chelsea
4. Liberpewl
5. Everton

All I can hope for at this point is another 7th place trophy for Moyes and hope I'm wrong on Man City winning over Arsenal, but eh, don't see the giant slowing.

TBF, on future fixtures it looks as though Liverpool will get it however they were expected to beat the baggies just like us so really can never be sure. Now if Suarez was to have an injury that could be helpful.

In the Derby Roberto should have given instructions to Barry to nail Suarez and put him out of action even if it meant a red card.

We've seen how bare our team looks when hit with injuries, if it is to happen again during the final 8 games then we will be screwed as the games tend to get harder towards the end.

Man Utd are too inconsistent, not strong enough to put a run together and aren't fearful anymore.

Tottenham still have quality and still play good football. Can they finish strong? I get the impression they will be fighting it out for 5th place and not 4th as the weeks pass by.

Liverpool are a very good attacking team but are a defensive shambles at times, I say they are favourites for 4th place but if anything happens to Suarez they will fall short.
Gerrard and Henderson are playing well I think and are the only two who are holding whatever defence they've got together.

I think if we beat Spurs on Sunday, we have a great chance to make the Champions league.

nice! Since this thread was bumped Everton have overtaken Liverpool in the poll.

And why the seven hells not? We're hopefully returning to full fitness soon, and Martinez always said his plan was to have a very strong squad for the final 10 games run-in.

If we get no further injuries, we might be a good bet for 4th after all.

Just hoping we perform a lot better than we've done the last 2 games.

I agree - very important game. If we overturn the spuds at their place I can't see them reeling us in, especially with Europa cup about to recommence. I think the RS will still be slight favourites even if the next round of games goes our way and we get our noses in front again, given their fixture list, but we would be right in there.

But must win against Spurs, can't stress that enough - all very well pontificating, but at the end of the day we have to go out there and win difficult matches like this one.

There will be no lack of drama over the final 14 games, and Everton have a real chance but need less of Tuesday and more of Saturday. And more healthy bodies.

(Captain Panaka obvious comments of the day post now ended.)

Our squad and bench could look its strongest for a long while this coming Sunday. If he goes with Coleman and McGeady to start we could be looking at Robles,Stones,Naismith,Ossie,Deulofeu,Traoré,Hibbo
