For example, everyone is excited we are 'back in for' Batshuayi, but 95% of people don't know whether he is very good because they've never seen him play before. They just want a signing for the sake of a signing. Don't get me wrong, I want us to invest in players. However, this should have been done earlier in the window, not just having been spanked by the RS. Alternatively, it could be done in the summer when we're not rushing deals. I'm confident there will still be money there in the summer.
