So i say 6, but surely its a trick question and im not entirely sure that the CS is considered a competitive match, so 5 maybe.

Yes, i had just thought about it more when i was having a wee. Some of the Cup games could be replays and the Carling cup could be a 2 leg Semi-Final. And also the CL semi.

So :

1 Community Shield
2/3 League
3/4 FA Cup/Replay
5/6 Carling Cup SF
7/8 CL SF

And im missing????

Ok, we have two teams from the Championship. One won the FA Cup last season so they are in the Uefa Cup, the other won the Uefa Cup last season so they are defending it.

So we have:

2 Regular season games
2 Playoff semis
2 FA Cup/Replay
2 Carling Cup SF
3 Uefa Cup (1 group match, plus two in the knockout stage)

That's 11.

OK I MIGHT HAVE IT HERE MIKELSGOAT.

Or not. I was gonna say get drawn in the same CL group, play the 2 games, one finish first other finish third. Then third placed goes on to win UEFA and first goes on to win CL and then play each other in the Super Cup. Unfortunately that would only add one extra game and it's not possible anyway cos you can't get drawn in the same CL group. We will get this tho, I'm sure of it.
 
I have another question...

How many of the 92 teams in the football league, never made it to the Millennium Stadium?
 

He posted "the answer", it was flawed and he talked about some teams from "The Championship", aint nothing i never heard of. Give us another GoD mate, me and brownie can do this stuff as a family, brownie mate come chatbox and abuse toccy with me.
