If he can stay fit, he could be a the replacement for Distin. Absolutely exceptional passing range and so composed on the ball. Very impressed with how easy he has slotted into the team.

Also, whilst I think he's done reasonably well so far, anyone else think he (Alcaraz) is really slow? Against a quick CF he'd struggle badly imo.

I can't see what others see with him to be honest. Not knocking him but Stones stood out more for me today.

I thought he was terrific today. Solid defensively and his distribution is unbelievable for a centre back.
