Arsenal, city and chelsea have much much better teams, let alone squads. liverpool have literally nothing to come off the bench, bar agger who is twice the player of skrtl. even we have better strength from the bench and have a better all round XI as well.

Then you have united, which at full strength is better than liverpool's, just have a bad manager at the helm. Spurs' squad is of course way better and we may start to see that with a new man at the helm.

as we all know though, football isn't about the best side winning.

TJ, one has to admire your one eyedness. You'd follow Everton to the pits of hell and that's to be applauded.

No, he is right.

Liverpool do not have the 3rd best squad in the league, not even close.

City,chelsea,arse,utd,tottenham,us all have better squads than them - by a long way tbh.

They are reliant almost entirely on one man.

thanks, i do say the odd thing tounge in cheek because i hate them. But they've got nowhere near the 3rd best team, it's a squad game after all and squad wise they're even lower. Their bench has players like brad jones, ake, aspas, luis alberto, luis enrique etc. i mean there's nothing there to come off the bench and win games. 9 players of the first team is nothing more than mid-table to 7th premier league standard, bar a great keeper and striker.

so much knee-jerk here about them winning the title, i know it's all ifs, but if they hadn't spawned that equaliser vs us after we battered them, then we'd be going on top of them today with a win. i wouldn't be saying we were definitely going to win the league etc. And nor would i expect liverpool fans to be saying it about us.

It's a shame we defended like Sunday league players that day.
