It was apparently an absolutely delicious goal, as tasty as the finest filet mignon paired with an exquisite pinot noir.

Kid does seem to be some player. The future is blue.

what sort of name is lundstram though? danish heritage?

I'd be willing to bet it's Danish or Swedish for Lundström and the new family has adapted it, maybe a passing sailor coming into the port marrying a local girl!

First births registered were a boy and girl in 1890 and 1892 in Liverpool and then the family name has branched out through the years, little clan going in Bangor, North Wales now too.

Amazing we have links to the origins of his name but no video of his very tasty goal, a goal of such delight it resembles a hot crumpet with real full fat butter melting into it.

I think with his range of passing, he's defo a Martinez type player. Hope he kicks on to the first team.

There's nothing more satisfying than winning with homegrown talent is there?

He better get back off loan if he wants to be part of the 2013/14 Double winning side

Wondering if Lundstram might be a medium to long term replacement for Barry? I'm thinking we sign Barry on a 2 year deal, and prepare John for first team football.

By all accounts he's doing well at Yoevil, and while he's still young, he is at the age where you need to make the move up.

"Johnson Looking To Extend Sticky Spell

Gettit! Sticky, Toffee, Everton = Shane Duffy and John Lundstram.

In quotes carried by the Herald.ie, manager Gary Johnson has confirmed that negotiations have already started with Everton over possibly extending the loan spells of both players given the impact they have already had since joining us.

Duffy extended his last spell with us at the beginning of the month and has now made 11 starting appearances since joining us, and the current loan spell will see us through until January so you expect Johnson is referencing a deal whereby we keep him for the remainder of the season.

Lundstram joined us late last month at the closure of the emergency loan window, and as emergency loan go we can extend his deal twice up to a maximum of 93 days, so whether discussions in his direction are for the season or simply a second month we will have to wait and see. However since joining us, he has made three starts and scored one goal.

'If we can keep them both, that's ideally what we will do. We hope we have created a good enough atmosphere with the lads and with Everton, so that they will stay.'

It'll be a good boost for the club, especially given our more recent form if we can secure them for a longer spell as consistency in team selection will certainly aide our chances of pulling away from the drop zone and pulling off what most didn't expect to happen - survival.
