I seem to recall a lot of people worrying we will concede too many goals with Bob as manager. Two clean sheets and another solid defensive player brought in and still the complainants complain. :dodgy:

He's not a good player, my word.

He enjoyed a couple of good years with Aston Villa which prompted Man City to splash a load of money on him. Was alright to start with and just got worse and worse. He can't use his right foot whatsoever and is slow in possession.

He is not a good player whatsoever and the only benefit of this is simply having another "body" in the squad. Play him regularly and we'll be going nowhere, which funnily enough is symbolic of him on the pitch.

How many games did this lad play in Man City's title winning season 2 years ago?How many last season for them?Would be a very, astute, low-risk signing. He's not comparable to Fellaini, but he'll keep Gibson on his toes, replace him when he's inevitable crocked and help limit Osmans exposure on the team. Useful for Barkley too to have an established head next to him.
good post , barry would be a good player for us, been there and done it, cant understand why we arnt in for moses, unless he has somebody up his sleeve, going to be mad the next few days

Moses is pictured on the Mail Online in the stands at Analfield today...gone on loan there. Ive always though Barry flattered to deceive and didn't live up to his reputation. I guess though if City agree to fund part of his megabucks wages, he could help our midfield especially with Gibson being out so much with injury.

Barry is not THAT slow ffs. He has been a very important cogg in the engine room of a team that finished 2nd and 1st in the PL.

Now given city didn't crumble and turn into a mid table team with Barry playing this last 2 yrs, I think he'd be just fine for us.

What was that Germans name who left Barry for dead in the World Cup? Was it Usain Bolt.

That wasn't just Barry though was it?

It was the whole England team.

Barry looked like he was running backwards, though.

Anyway, if you want a team of pacey players just sign a sprint team. No? There's more to football than speed, size and strength.
