Really don't see the point of loans without a buyout clause.

One goal can mean the difference between finishing in a European spot or not. If he got that, it'd be enough for me.

I'd be sad to see him return to Barca if he turned out to be brilliant - but better to have had that for a season than not at all.

Well this is an exciting signing, must be pretty decent if he's just signed a new 5yr deal at the Nou Camp and let's face it Barcelona can afford for their 'wonderkids' to go out on loan for first team experience. Hopefully he'll settle with having plenty of Spanish speakers and produce the goods on the pitch before heading home.

Good signing. But I do recall some people on here saying how the Luis Alberto signing for Liverpool was ****e and he only looked good because he was playing for Barca B. Hopefully it's not the same case for Deulofeu then. Still needs some time to develop.

perhaps, but if he gets infected with Everton like so many who visit Goodison that might not be that much of an issue - plus of course there is going to be Messi and Neymar ahead of him for years and years and years.

that mockery was more about the money they had paid for him than his quality - it was only a couple of million less than what they paid for Coutinho, and three times what Atleti paid for David Villa
