Imagine if this was all a PR ploy by Bill to show that the fans do have an impact, they will change it back in a few days saying 'We have listened to the fans'
 

The thing that really scares me is how LITTLE effort seems to have gone into it.

Working with the new badge, and without changing anything major (and given that i have pretty much NO design skills) i did this in about 10minutes.

Now let me say, I still don't like it (mostly because it builds upon the travesty that they've chosen), but it just shows how a LITTLE work on how something is presented - not even on the substance of it - can have a pretty big effect.

I may be wrong and everyone thinks it's even worse than the one we've got... but what the hell. :D

At least with the addition of the laurels it actually LOOKS like an everton badge!

I'm not in business at all, but when the heritage collection was introduced with the 80's style crest on it the majority of feedback on forums, twitter etc were saying how good the range looked and if we were looking to bring a new crest it should go back to that. The club had in a way unintentional market research there already as to what we the fans wanted, then after the leak of the new badge had more with the vast majority hating it yet they still stuck with it. Just makes no sense at all alienating the people who your wanting to buy merchandise with it on.

I get the feeling the board are so removed from the community that they dont believe social media platforms are representative of the general Everton supporter base. I am pretty sure they just consult people like the tea lady...........nothing against the tea lady like...
 

Just to be clear I am not supporting the introduction of a new badge. I loved the old one. As it happens I don't hate the new one particularly.
