TBF, if their biggest opponent isn't in the fight for the title they are going to lose an edge. There was no need to be going full throttle picking up every point when they knew they could still piss it and slip up multiple times. They focused on Europe whilst they could do so.
Their record whilst out of Europe isn't much difference , the point I was making is still there . You could argue that they don't have those tough away games at ibrox. Lennon is far from the best old firm manager in recent years and for me the best ones aren't good enough for us .
The manager is in my opinion clearly far from stellar and certainly miles from being anywhere near ready for a top 10 club and certainly not ours .
I'm not arguing for a second Lennon should be considered, he clearly shouldn't. I'm just pointing out the obvious fact that if your biggest threat isn't around then you take your foot off the gas. Running up the lowest winning SPL margin or whatever is not really a relevant stick to beat Lennon's credentials with.
I actually don't think we're disagreeing really and I wasn't trying to use it as a stick to beat him but the poster keeps raving about him and I think the fact that his side are set for the worst ever SPL points record is relevant to the discussion .
I have a number of objections to lennon which I've mentioned in the thread the main one being in my opinion he's miles from ready for a top team and I suspect his next job will probably indicate this.

I'm done with Everton if they appoint that despicable little [Poor language removed].

Sounds like an empty gesture from a non season ticket holder but honestly, I couldn't find it in me to support a team with him as manager.
