Belgian Agent

There might be some truth in this.

Mirallas and Lukaku does have the same agent: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/sport-innovation-sa/details/berater_361.html

Notice Odjidja-Ofoe also has the same agent. That's probably the midfielder we were in for that OP couldn't remember the name of (sounded African, which makes sense). Can't see anyone coming up with stuff like this, and when the facts are correct, this is pretty interesting. As for the last player, it's hard to say. I don't think it's Thorgan Hazard because he shouldn't be worth more than £2-3m in my opinion, so Lukaku + him wouldn't be such a great deal. Courtois or De Bruyne + Lukaku for Fellaini would be a great deal.

Negredo is a proven goalscorer though, Lukaku has shown it in the Prem already but he's not as consistent as Negredo.

Even if Negredo is as good as you hope, he's 28 years old.

19 year old proven Prem striker over a 28 year old Spanish striker who would probably cost a lot more any day of the week.

I'd take either obviously, but you have to say that Lukaku makes more sense for a club whose transfer spends are usually minimal.

From his Wikipedia:

On the 11th April 2013, it was revealed that De Bruyne's girlfriend Caroline had had an affair with Chelsea and fellow Belgian teammate Thibaut Courtois.

Lukaku and DeBruyne for Fellaini - has to be a good deal surely?

Even if it is a made up story it should be considered by the club.

Make it so Moyes!

Interesting, very interesting indeed...With Lukaku up top we would be a force - Howard , Coleman, Distin , Jags, Baines, Mcmanaman, Fer, Barkley, Mirallas, De Bruyne, Lukaku

I know age helps in the long term but in the short term Negredo can fire us into CL next season.

In the long term Lukaku is the perfect signing for that as he's developing into a top player.

But in terms of getting you goals week in week out which is what Anichebe and Jelavic have failed with this season Negredo is the man for me.

Lukaku £15m or Negredo £12-£15m? You choose.
