4 points off 4th

The away games against Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea are the important ones, i wish them away games were at home instead, if we had them at home i would feel a lot more confident but hopefully we can really have a go at them and get points.
 

.....I'm not optimistic on top5 but if our neighbours were in the position we are they would be thinking they could still catch Man Utd. Amazing the different mentality of us from them.
 
We need luck but it is plausable . I heard Loris is out with injury so they look shaky in goal . We just need spurs to run thier socks of in europa so they tire out . Bale wont able to last the whole season at the pace hes going so hopefully he runs out of steam agaisnt us. Arsenal are my worry . They seem to be picking up wins now so its key for them to slip up

They're just beating teams they should. They lost to Spurs.

On paper, you could take Arsenal out of the equation, they have no cups to play for and the easiest fixture list. It's Chelsea and Spurs who have wobbly fixture lists. There again, footy isn't played on paper.

But it's far from an easy list, they've still got Utd and a couple of relegation battlers.
 
Boy our last few games of the season aren't going to be boring, there is that!

The whole "next year will be our year" stuff isn't a positive mentality it's just delusion ... I think this thread had been fairly realistic but with some cautious optimism. If we beat Spurs we'll crank up the dreaming.
 

Beating Spurs is a must IMO. They play on Thursday so hopefully they will be a bit tired. Stopping Bale is the key to winning, when he doesn't turn up Tottenham just don't look the same team.
 
The problem is for me that we havent got the siege mentality that IMO we need to get max points for 4th, Felli and Pienaar will be big misses for Spurs anyway but I wish we had the same mentality we always seem to have when we play Citeh, but will we roll over against the ****e as usual and will probably only get a point at most against Arsenal.
 
Cole is out for 2 weeks so that puts bit more pressure on Chelsea's defence . A win at spurs and arsenal and will be nearly there . This is where we could do with some luck what we haven't had this season like the Newcastle 2-2 game which should of being a win then how unlucky was Fulham to give a last minute goal
