i remember all those in power sayin' bring back national service in the 80's, we weren't running round killing each other ffs.
the powers used to go on about football fans and the way they behaved in grounds, with their pushin and shoving and those terrible words in their songs.
fact.....excluding h'borough/heysel and probably including both of those, there have been more fatal stabbing/shootings in the last 12 months, and maybe this calendar year than fatalities ever at football.

if they cant stop, then lock 'em up. a lot are now carrying knives cos they are terrified and i dont think they realise how bad it is. make it an offence that will basically sign them up for a tour of afghanistan if the jails are full. you go shopping and there are sniffer dogs everywhere, they cant smell cold [Poor language removed] steel.

Who honestly thinks that they care? If i was in charge i would do something about it, but clearly they dont give a [Poor language removed]. All it takes is more police on the streets, stop and search and lock the knife carrying scum up for 5 years. Make more prisons.

That **** who was on Talksport the other week, Rudi something, belittling the north and getting people to wake up smell the coffee and move down south.

come on lads there are enough feral kids up here as well, although i agree with fencing off the north west as i'm sure we could be self sufficient.

no i am not bored, and neither will the victims family be.

the problem is when such crime becomes such a triviality that for some selfish selfish people* its a boredom.

apathy, its a cancer, it just doesn't kill the apathetic, it means someone else suffers.

in a society with no consequence that harbours the blame culture attitude is it any wonder that criminals are emboldened?

(someone above has mentioned making carrying a knife a real offence, that sounds great, how many gun crime offences have been overlooked on merseyside?)

some individuals dont give a [Poor language removed] until its them or their families directly affected by such serious crime. selfish enablers. scum of the earth.

Well if it was a general non gang related issue with no underworld criminal element or inner city deprivation bitching, then fine - I do feel sorry for the victims families. But more often than not it is gang related. So no I don't feel sorry for the families because they are in charge of their own destiny and they decide how to bring up their children.

And if they decide that it is ok to allow their kids to wander the streets armed with knives then they are not doing their job as parents.

lets go further, what of individuals with no parents? can a person only be law abiding if they have both parents doing ''their job'' ?

agreed suits if they want to carry a gun or knife then give em a gun with a knife on the front of it and sign the little bleeders up, and if they are still at school then, as soon as they hit 16, off to the army.

national service isn't a harsh enough consequence. and i dont respect age in terms of serious crime.

big enough to commit the crime, big enough to serve the time.

in some cases, the time would be how long it takes to pull a trigger. state execution and the harvesting of organs is the way forward.

I did say that I felt sorry for the innocence, as always. But this isn't an innocent problem on the whole, its gang related, always has been and always will.
