Europe a good thing?

Given after the Utd game Moyes was quoted as saying the team looked "tired", and we aren't going to get the money any time soon to invest in quality players to give us any strength in depth.Would qualification be healthy in the short term.I'm obviously not factoring in the potencial for exotic away trips for the fans.

It has to be if we want to push on...... no players are gonna come here without the lure of European football. I know we don't have much money to spend but the TV cash and the fee we are gonna get for felli in the summer when he leaves will help us to land a couple of decent repplacements..... european football always helps that.

Apparently if you get to the final of the Uefa cup ( europa sounds rubbish ) you have to play 18 games. Bit much init.

Late in the Norwich game a few of the players looked like they were running in sand add at least another 8-10 games to the season and as you say........bit much.But you never know maybe it might force Moyse to use some of the younger players (that's if he's still here)

Agreed,but only if you are properly equipped if we'd been in the Uefa this year this squad would really have struggled

The squad, numbers wise will most likely improve in the Summer im hoping with the TV money and most likely the Fellaini sale giving Moyes or whoever else a bit of money to spend on a few players.

I thought it gave us good momentum when we were pushing on in the Europa league, it's good for the club, the fans and attracts good players, so i'm definitely in, we've got some work to get 6th though.

Europa League qualification will pretty much condemn Everton to midtable next season. We just dont have the numbers to cope and that wont change anytime in the near future whilst there's no investment. Thursday to Sunday games through into late winter/early spring will find us out. It raises our profile on the continent and enables us to blood a few peripheral players though (as we have done in the past with the EL).

With this squad no, would be too much. But if we get in Europe with the TV money and Fellaini money I'm sure we'd bring in another 5 players at least.
